About Us

The Greek Kitchen concept originated from our lifelong search for flavor combined with healthful ingredients. After years of applying our family’s care and knowledge of prime ingredients in our own Greek home’s kitchen, the first Greek Kitchen restaurant opened in January 2011 in the heart of the downtown Chicago Loop.

Following that successful debut, a second Greek Kitchen opened in May 2013. Located in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood just east of world-famous Michigan Avenue, the restaurant is inside the second-floor food destination of Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Greek Kitchen is family-owned and operated. At our fast-casual restaurants, you’ll find an enduring culinary philosophy and tradition that dates back thousands of years. It holds that food can be fresh and flavorful, delicious and beneficial – as good for your heart as it is for your soul. The Mediterranean Diet at its finest. All that, with efficient, friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere for lunch and dinner.
